Children enjoyed the fairground rides and games while their parents took in the numerous stalls and attractions dotted around the edge of the ground.

The donkeys were ridden by students from the Rottingdean Riding School, who provided spectators with a tense, exciting and sometimes highly amusing display throughout the day.

Sussex Downs Falconry club brought along numerous beautiful birds of prey for visitors to look at and handle, while St John's Ambulance and the 6th Seaford Scouts, Cubs and Beavers were on hand to help out with the organisation.

All funds raised by the day's events will go towards local charities and good causes.
