A driver lost control of their car on the A27 in Arundel yesterday (July 28) after trying to remove a spider from the vehicle.

According to a tweet from Sussex Roads Policing Officer Tom Van Der Wee, the black Audi crashed on the A27 westbound, just before the Crossbush lights.

PC Van Der Wee's tweet said: "To all car driving arachnophobes, if you want to evict an unwanted spider from your car, please don't try and do it whilst driving along!"
