East Grinstead A22 resurfacing to continue

West Sussex County Council’s contractor Balfour Beatty is carrying out the maintenance work to make sure the road is safe.

Twenty-four hour traffic lights have had to be put in place to protect both the workforce and the public.

To try and get the work finished as quickly as possible, crews will work over the weekend.

The traffic lights are also being controlled manually during the day to try and minimise the disruption as much as possible.

We apologise for the inconvenience but would like to remind residents this work is essential and must be done to prevent the road from failing in the future.
