East Grinstead pedestrian killed in three car pile up named

AN East Grinstead man has been named as the pedestrian who was killed in a crash involving three cars on a rural road near Lingfield on Tuesday evening last week.

David Powell (57) died following the three-car collision shortly before 9.30pm.

Police said the collision involved a Vauxhall Cavalier, a Nissan Almera and an Alfa Romeo.

The incident occurred at around 9.25pm on East Grinstead Road north of the junction with Felcourt Road and Blackberry Lane.
