DRIVERS SOUGHT: Some of our less able residents sometimes need help in getting to hospital, dentist and optician appointments and rely on volunteer drivers to do this. The regular driver providing this service on a voluntary basis has recently moved away from the parish. If you think that you could help, please contact Marion Beal on 01825 840097. Expenses will be reimbursed.

Hide AdMOBILE LIBRARY: The next date for the visit of the mobile library will be on Thursday between 12.30pm and 1pm outside the church. The following dates are August 1 and 11, September 22.
PRESERVATION SOCIETY: The next monthly walk is a bit special this coming Sunday. Although there is the usual walk starting at 2pm from the Cinders Buffet at the Lavender Line, Isfield, but the day will start from 10.30am in the morning to catch the first train at 11am, followed by a short history and a guided tour (subject to enough of us and an available station volunteer). There will then be a lunch at Cinders before walking it off down to The Anchor, with a chance of more refreshment before returning in the usual circular fashion to Isfield. All are invited to the visit and the walk but more than welcome to do just one or the other. You will have to pay for admission, train ride and lunch but all are thoroughly good value (The Lavender Line is staffed entirely by volunteers).
We need to know numbers on this one so please email, [email protected] or ring 872830 and let us know if you are coming, and if you want to bring along any friends or family, also if you need a lift etc.
