Elderly lady cut from car in Rustington
AN elderly lady had to be cut from her car yesterday (Thursday, April 26) after it was driven off the road.
Firefighters were called to the scene of a road traffic accident in Claigmar Road, Rustington, at 10.45am, where they found a car on its side.
Three crews attended the scene, and cut the lady free of her vehicle using hydraulic equipment. She was then sent to hospital to have her injuries treated.
It is unclear how the accident occurred.
