Chessington World of Adventures ‘open as usual’ after water outage forces theme park to close

Chessington World of Adventures is set to reopen on Tuesday, August 11, following a water outage.

A burst water main affecting the local area resulted in the closure of the attraction, which has now been resolved.

Guests affected by the closure will be offered ticket revalidation for a future date via the theme park’s Return Promise. For those unable to return on another date, please contact Chessington’s Help Centre for a refund.

Chessington said its teams responded as soon as the outage was identified and worked closely with Thames Water and local partners to resolve the issue.
