Police were called to reports of a one-vehicle collision in Goring Road at about 4.45pm on Wednesday, November 4.
A Sussex Police spokesperson said: “There were no injuries or arrests."
West Sussex County Council’s (WSCC) highways team attended the scene to assess the damage.
A WSCC spokesperson added: "The area was made safe and temporary measures were put in place to protect road users and pedestrians. We are now working to assess the damage and arrange the necessary repairs as quickly as possible.”
