Sussex traffic: Road traffic collision causes delays in Rottingdean

Pictures sent to this newspaper appear to show a vehicle crashed into a dislodged bus stop.

The road was reportedly closed both ways as a result, but it has since reopened with slow moving traffic according to AA Traffic News.

Compass Bus Travel posted on social media at 11:46am informing customers the 11:40 service from East Saltdean would not run due to an incident ‘on the junction of Marine Drive and High Street’.

Sussex Police has been approached for comment.
