End of Rye garage eye-sore
A DILAPIDATED filling station on Winchelsea Road at Rye has finally been demolished.
The Environment Agency site, which had been fenced off, is the subject of ongoing concern in Rye with people claiming it was an eye-sore which blighted the western entrance to town.
The future of the site still remains uncertain as ground pollution there needs to be cleaned up.
