Crews to investigate fire at Chichester industrial unit

Firefighters will return to the scene of a fire at an industrial unit in Chichester this morning to investigate the blaze.

The fire broke out at the building in Stane Street at just after 8.15pm yesterday (Tuesday, February 25).

Multiple crews were sent to the scene and the road was closed, as residents were warned to avoid the area.

A spokesman said the fire was at the ground floor of a single storey building used as a warehouse. It also involved external goods.

The blaze was out by 9.38pm, the spokesman said, and crews left the scene at 11.34pm.

Police and firefighters will return to the scene this morning to investigate the fire.
