Eastbourne school in finals for national competition

A school in Eastbourne is in the finals of a national competition and voting closes in a few days.

Pupils at Pevensey & Westham School entered a competition to raise awareness of the damage plastic can do to the environment.

The students designed and created a swan made from recycled materials.

Now from more than 200 entries submitted throughout the country, the school has been chosen as a top 10 finalist. The prize is a £5,000 makeover for the school playground.
