‘Roadworks now complete’ in Handcross garden centre

Country Gardens Handcross has said it is ‘back to normal’ this month after major nearby roadworks have been completed.

The Warninglid sliproad opened last Sunday (July 7) and customers can no longer enter the centre by exiting the A23.

Will Foulkes, Manager of the garden centre on London Road, said: “There will be some diversions for the first few weeks while the Northbound carriage is closed from the works area, which will run straight to the entrance.”

He added: “We will also be opening our new entrance and exit from Sunday 7th July, which is a two way system allowing easier access to and from the new road. We look forward to welcoming all our customers.”

The centre offers a range of plants, furniture and garden essentials, and its Gardening Club is free to join.
