CHURCH SERVICE TIMES: The Service this Sunday (December 20) will be at 11am, conducted by Canon Patrick Sales. On December 24 there will be a Crib and Christingle Service at 3pm, with Reverend sally Epps, there will be a collection in aid of the Children’s Society, the Midnight Service with Reverend Jean manning will start at 11.15pm.

On Christmas Day the Morning Service will be with Reverend Dick Dengate at 10am. On Sunday December 27 there will not be a Service in Etchingham Church, but Etchingham residents are invited to St. Bartholomew’s, Burwash for the Service at 10am, if you will require a lift to Burwash please contact a Churchwarden.

A reminder that the Church is open daily for visitors 11am to 4pm.

EXERCISE: Ageless & Active Classes in the Parker Hall, Parsonage Croft will continue in the New Year. Look after yourself in 2016 with an hour of gentle stretching and strengthening exercises designed with the older body in mind. Come and join in the fun. No need to book, just turn up. Classes are 12 noon every Monday and cost £5.00.

SPEEDWATCH SURVEY: The Speedwatch Online Survey is still open for your comments if you have not yet contributed, it will close on January 10 to allow time for a report to be prepared for the January Parish Council meeting. All responses and comments received will help give an overall view of residents opinions and will help the local group with future planning, there is a link to the survey on the village website www.etchinghamvillage.co.uk , you will find the link near the top of the Home Page.

Please feel free to pass on the link to the survey to anyone you know who might like to see it, you do not have to be an Etchingham resident to participate, if someone from another area regularly drives through the village and wants to comment we will welcome their views.

LIVE MUSIC: Etchingham Club have live music tomorrow evening (Saturday December 19) with The Blockx, at 9pm. The Blockx are a five piece modern band, playing a wide mix of tracks to satisfy all your dance, disco, funk, britpop and rock needs. The Club opens at 7.30pm with music from 9pm, everyone welcome and entry is free.

The Club opening times are Mondays and Wednesdays 7.30pm to 10.30pm, Fridays 6.30pm to 11.30pm, Saturdays 7.30pm to 11.30pm.
