Fairytale magic at Fairlight
FAIRLIGHT Pantomime Group held audiences spellbound at the weekend with their production of Sleeping Beauty at the village hall.
The action ranged from a castle to an enchanted forest as the audience enthusiastically cheered on the prince and booed the wicked fairy Carabosse.
Performances took place from Thursday - Saturday.
The panto was directed by Jennifer Annetts, who said: “Sleeping Beauty is a fairytale favourite. It was last performed by us in 2003/4 when it was directed by Jim Duffy. The original script was by Richard Hills.
“The classic tale of love and enchantment featured magnificent scenery, beautiful costumes, and an abundance of laughter.”
