Family tribute to cyclist who died

The family of the man who died on New Year’s Day in St Leonards have paid tribute to him.

Jamie Murray, 23, died after being involved in a collision on the bike he was riding with a Ford Focus around 4am at St Leonards .

Jamie lived for a period in Camber

His family said: “Jamie was a fun-loving man and a loving son, brother and uncle. Jamie was his own person. Jamie brought us many memorable times, he was a joker, he loved to go fishing and he loved his dog Rococo to pieces. Rococo was his shadow everywhere Jamie went, so did he. He will be missed by many as he made friends wherever he went. Nothing will ever replace Jamie he was one of a kind. Nothing will ever take away the heartache he has left behind, the only comfort we have now is that he is at peace with his dad, who he adored.”
