Felpham hair salon turned into pink palace

Stylists turned a Felpham hair salon into a pink palace.

Their efforts at Harvey Moons ensured that more than 400 was raised for breast cancer research.

The think pink event, held on Saturday, November 1, saw the six members of staff wear clothes of that colour as well as serving pink food and sweets.

Balloons and streamers also made the interior of the Felpham Road business special for a day.

Salon owner Sam Orwell said: "The customers who turned up and didn't know what we were doing were astounded.

"They thought it was brilliant, especially on a day with such horrible weather, to come in and see everything in pink. We only organised the event very quickly and that added to the fun as well."
