Festive shopping at Battle Gala Night
BATTLE’S annual Gala Night event will return on Thursday (December 6).
The shops will stay open until 9pm and there will be entertainment throughout the town. Businesses will vie to win trophies for the best fancy dress and best decorated shop window.
A Weald Crafts fair will take place in the Memorial Hall and the Museum of Local History will be open and free for the occasion. There will also be events at St Mary’s Church and Battle Baptist Church.
Community carols will take place by the tree on the Abbey Green from 8pm.
The Battle Abbey car park will be free for the evening.
