'˜Film stars' to take a dip in the sea for fun

The annual excursion into the sea will take place at 11am on January 1 in front of Bognor Regis Yacht Club, Victoria Road South.

The fancy dress theme will enable those who want to start 2014 with a soaking to dress up as their favourite big screen stars.

Anyone can take part. Especially welcome are those who wish to raise money for a chosen cause or charity. Entry forms from Richard Johns on 01243 262240.

The Lions are also holding a Craft and Christmas Fair on November 16 at the Rowland Rank Centre in Aldwick. It will be followed next April 26 by a charity ball in aid of St Wilfrid’s Hospice, at the Beachcroft Hotel, in Felpham.
