Fire tears through Brighton shop

Multiple teams were called to deal with a blaze that tore through a Brighton shop this morning.

Crews were called at 3.55am to reports of a shop alight on Warren Road.

A total of eight pumps were used to tackle the blaze which and East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service left the scene at 9.15am.

Updates were given over social media: "03:55 - fire involving a shop on Warren Road #Brighton two appliances mobilised. Confirmed building well alight on arrival. #fire."
