Firefighters’ Vinehall visit
THERE was a great deal of excitement at Vinehall Pre-Prep School in Robertsbridge when the firefighters from Battle Fire Station paid them a visit.
The children learnt about all the equipment stored in the fire engine before taking turns in taking charge of the hose and firing water at targets. Inside the cab they all used a thermo graphic camera and looked at all the technology used to drive the engine. Finally they listened whilst the crew explained ways in which the Fire and Rescue Service help us.
