The Class of 84 are intending to stage their first reunion.

The night will be in aid of charity to ensure that memory jogging among the youngsters of the past benefits those of today.

Sarah Grant, one of the reunion organisers, said: "We decided to do this reunion as it will be 25 years since we were all together.

"We thought it would be an excellent time to catch up and reminisce and raise money at the same time for a very worthwhile cause."

All the profits from the night will go to Winston's Wish children's charity.

Based in Pulborough, it helps children cope with the loss of a parent or sibling.

"Unfortunately, not everyone will be at the reunion as we have lost quite a few classmates over the years, some who have left behind children," stated Sarah.

"I have been involved with this charity as they helped my daughter cope with the terrible loss of her father when she was just 14 years old.

"Winston's Wish were wonderfully supportive and, without them, she would not have come through so well.

"Other friends have also had the help and support of this charity and that's why we decided to raise much-needed funds so that they can continue their great work."
