Flooding and road collision causing delays between Eastbourne and Bexhill

Motorists travelling between Eastbourne and Bexhill are being warned of delays this afternoon (Wednesday, November 7).

There is currently slow-moving traffic on the A259 Marsh Road between Little Common and Pevensey due to a road traffic collision.

An alternative route between Bexhill and Eastbourne – along Herbrand Walk – is also currently impassible due to flooding.

The environment agency is on the scene in Cooden, but the road is currently closed to all traffic.
