The closure of Horsham town centre’s McDonald’s store seems to have upset some loyal customers of the fast food chain.

This afternoon (Wednesday July 30), a bunch of flowers and a card addressed to ‘my beloved McDonald’s’ were left outside the empty building.

Inside reads a heartfelt message, with the card signed by mourners Callum, Sam and Jonny.

It reads: “You were there for me when I needed you the most and now I’m here for you.

“You stood high above the rest with your golden arches.

“You were the king of fast food, but to me you’re my queen.”
