Former Bexhill and Battle MP now Lord

The former Bexhill and Battle MP made his maiden speech in the House of Lords after his introduction as Lord Barker of Battle.

Rt Hon Gregory Barker introduced to the House of Lords as Lord Barker.

Gregory Barker represented Bexhill and Battle between 2001 and 2015 and was raised to the peerage in the dissolution honours list following this year’s general election.

He made a point at the start of his maiden speech of thanking his constituents for returning him to the House of Commons at three successive general elections.
