Former MP's band releases second album

For this album, the band has been signed by a major record label, Angel Air, which is actively promoting the album both in the UK and overseas. There has been a wide range of interest from countries as diverse as Japan and Norway.

In addition, the band will be undertaking a tour to promote the album, taking in prestigious venues such as the London Borderline and towns such as Wolverhampton and Southampton, as well as performing more locally in Lewes, Newhaven and Brighton.

Mr Baker said, “Our first album in 2013 [Always Tomorrow] was well received and we think this one is even better. The fact that we have been signed by a serious label that has artists like T Rex, After The Fire, Sailor and Adam Faith on its books, is a vote of confidence for us.”

Eleven of the 12 tracks have been written by Mr Baker and guitarist Mike Phipps, with the 12th written by Mike and drummer Chris Dartnell.

Never Yesterday features a picture of the band in front of The Sugarloaf, built near Dallington by eccentric 19th century squire ‘Mad Jack’ Fuller in order to win a bet.

He claimed he could see the spire of Dallington church from his mansion in the adjacent village of Brightling. When Squire Fuller discovered he could not, he had an imitation built that was visible.
