Fort ready for new visitor season

Newhaven Fort's defences will be breached on Thursday (March 1).

The imposing 130 year-old, iron-clad doors of the fort, built to keep out invaders, will be unbolted, unlocked and swung open to welcome the first visitors of the new season.

The Newhaven Fort team have spent the winter months working hard to make the 2007 season exciting and appealing for all the family.
