Fossil hunting on West Beach in Littlehampton

BUDDING paleontologists will get the chance to discover a piece of history when fossil walks are held on West Beach in Littlehampton next month.

Littlehampton Museum is once again hosting fossil walks on West Beach during the Easter school holidays.

Open to ages five and upwards, and aimed at anybody who is ‘fanatic about fossils’, the geology team of the museum will be leading groups around the area in search of the ancient rocks.

All children must be accompanied by an adult, and suitable footwear and clothing must be worn because of how windy it can be on the beach.

There are four sessions during the Easter Break.

Those who would like to take part are encouraged to book the free places soon to avoid disappointment.

Booking opened on Monday.
