Each school can decide whether to use their tickets for school trips or give them to students to use in their own time. The vouchers must be exchanged for tickets at the British Airways i360 ticket office on Kings Road and are valid for use any time until July 25.

British Airways i360 chief executive Eleanor Harris said: “Children absolutely love the British Airways i360 pod. It is 10 times the size of a London Eye capsule and families are free to walk around or sit at their leisure enjoying the 360-degree views of Sussex, pointing out landmarks, ships out at sea and birds flying past.

“We are very excited to be offering schools the chance to move their classrooms to the skies, and look forward to welcoming them on board.”

British Airways i360 is also developing school curriculum materials for Key Stages 1 to 4, which will be available in the New Year.
