Free school holiday cycling courses

FREE cycle training courses run by West Sussex County Council are due to be held over the Easter and summer holidays.

The level two Bikeability courses – described as “a cycling proficiency for the 21st century” – are suitable for young cyclists aged 10 or over.

Cyclists will be taught how to deal with traffic on short journeys.

The Easter holiday course is running from Monday, April 2, and Thursday, April 5, from 10am to 12.30pm at Oak Grove College, Worthing, Forest School, Horsham, Pound Hill Junior School, Crawley, Chichester College, Chichester, and Warden Park School, Haywards Heath.

The summer holiday course is running from Monday, July 23, and Friday, July 27, from 10am to noon, at the same venues.
