“We have got quality entertainment with three live bands, plus other fun and games raising money for a good cause.

“That will be marshalled by Billingshurst Lions who will be handing out the money raised to various local charities.

Chris added the annual charity event has been taking place for between 12 and 15 years.

Three live bands will be performing over the course of the day - Murdoch’s Crazy Eyes at 2pm, The Tom Cooper Band at 4pm and Tripod Dave at 7pm.

They will be joined by regular side stalls, including tombola, raffles, auctions, a bouncy castle, face painting, chilli eating and a number of games.

In their 40th year of fundraising, the Billingshurst Lions have supported the day along with usual benefactor the Women Hall Playground Appeal.

The pub hopes to share money raised among other local charities.

The fun begins at 1pm and will continue until late in the day.
