Fun day’s cash boost for charities

The King’s Head in Udimore held a charity day on Saturday.

The day started with a mini fate, with BBQ, there was a children fancy dress completion in which 16 children took part.

This was followed by a tug o war with around 5 teams.

Live music in the bar took the revellers into the evening.

Julia Nailor, landlady of the pub said: “It was a fantastic day with classic bikes out the front of the pub, there was new people coming and going all day and we made a over £1300 for to fantastic charity’s, st Michael’s Hospice and a multiple sclerosis charity.

“Thank you to all that helped me on this fantastic day, all the people that came and all that donated raffle and tombola prizes.”
