Fun event will help raisemoney for kid’s charity

The event, which takes place on Saturday August 30, has been organised by Gemma Sutton from the Bull Inn at Battle.

Gemma said: “It starts at 1.30pm in the Bull Inn.

“Each team will be given a challenge sheet and the aim is to go around Battle completing as many tasks as they would like or can do.

“There will be a range of challenges, from easy to hard to some damn right funny crazy ones and you must get a picture of yourself and your team to prove that you completed the task.

“Not all challenges are compulsory so you can choose which ones you want to do. When each sheet is back we will score the picture, and the winning team will be awarded a prize.

“There will also be a prize for the best fancy dress although there is no theme, you can dress as individually as you like.

“The charity will be giving us some collection boxes for the day and as we are going around in fancy dress I think we will attract a lot of attention.

“I have also started an event on Facebook event page and next week I will be putting posters all around Battle and passing out flyers.

“Alongside the hunt I will also be doing a raffle so that we can get as many people involved as possible. I have managed to get quite a few local shops and businesses to donate prizes . The draw will take place at 5pm at the Bull Inn.

“The idea is to get as many people in the community taking part as possible.”
