Girl, 8, hurt in road accident
A GIRL was hit by a car while walking along a road.
The eight-year-old was in Ersham Road, Hailsham, when the accident happened on Saturday.
Police received a call at 4.22pm and arrived at the scene.
No arrests were made.
The girl suffered abdominal pains and she was taken to EDGH.
Doctors kept the girl as an in-patient at the hospital overnight for observation.
The injuries were not thought to be serious.
