Give says MP

SHADOW children's minister Tim Loughton MP is calling on secondary school to take part in G-Week this summer, to support good causes as part of the Giving Nation Awards.

The awards encourages 11 to 16 year olds to change the world, whether it is turning off taps to save water or writing to someone who has inspired them.

Mr Loughton said: "Our secondary school pupils are already achieving so much for charity that we want to recognise and reward the great deal of effort they put into supporting good causes.

"Taking part in Giving Nation's G-Week offers them the opportunity to showcase to their school and local community the positive impact of young people's activity and we are looking to build on this for the future."
