Greens name candidate forforthcomingelection
Greens in the Rother have chosen Jonathan Kent to contest the Bexhill and Battle parliamentary constituency this May.
Jonathan is a journalist, writer and broadcaster. He lives in Ticehurst. He grew up in the constituency and went to school at Stonegate and Tunbridge Wells, before going up to Oxford to read philosophy and theology.
He has worked for the BBC and Reuters, including a spell as a political reporter at Westminster. As a foreign correspondent he reported from SE Asia for Newsweek. He was the BBC’s man in Kuala Lumpur.
