Guest speakers lined up to join Bible week

Plans are well under way for this year's Bognor Regis Bible week.

The event at the Royal Norfolk Hotel between September 20 and 27 has attracted a range of top speakers.

Among them is the general secretary of the Methodist Church, Martyn Atkins, and the humorous Adrian Plass.

Christian rock band Phatfish will be appearing in a concert.

The week is being organised by Christ for the Nations UK after last year's success of the first occasion of its kind in the town for decades.

More than 4,000 people attended its activities in the grounds of the charity's Royal Norfolk Hotel.

The hotel will again form the focal point for the week. A larger marquee than in 2008 will be placed on its front lawn to accommodate the speakers and trade stands.

The week will begin with an outreach meeting with former dancer, Julie Sheldon, with her testimony of healing.

It will close with a free barbecue by Bognor Regis Churches Together and a celebration service with a variety of worship styles and speaker Gram Seed.

He has changed his life from being an addict and prisoner to an evangelist in prisons and schools.
