Have your say about life in Arun

THOUSANDS of Arun residents will have the chance to tell the council what they think about living in the district.

A questionnaire is being sent out to 3,000 households from Monday onwards as part of a national government Place Survey.

It covers aspects of life in the Arun district and gives residents the chance to have their say on topics such as refuse collection, recycling, community safety and local decision-making.

"Every council in the country is taking part in the Place Survey so it will be interesting to see how our results compare with other local authorities across Sussex," said leader of the council Gillian Brown.

"This is an extra opportunity for us to find out what local people think about a wide range of issues, so I hope residents will take 15 minutes out of their day to tell us what they think about living in Arun."

Residents who receive a survey are asked to complete and return it in the pre-paid envelope.

Anyone over the age of 18 and living in a household within Arun can answer the questionnaire.
