Currently promoting their album Live in Britain, the band also have plans to tour America, the Far East and Australia whilst taking in Bognor Regis too.

Centred on the front lawn of the Royal Norfolk Hotel, the free music and arts festival which features some of the best unsigned acts from around the region starts on July 27, about 6pm.

It has been extended to allow festival-goers to watch live excerpts of the Olympic opening ceremony.

Rox will revert to its usual mix of entertainment for the weekend of July 28 and 29.

Another first for the event will be the ability for revellers to make use of a high speed internet access.

Thanks to a partnership with Bognor-based broadband service provider Zoom the free connection should be available throughout the festival site.

Zoom managing director Ron Green said he is delighted to be working with Rox.

“Festival goers simply have to log on to www.zoombb.co.uk, enter their email address and create their own password and then be able to surf over Bognor’s seafront to their hearts’ content.”
