ST RICHARD’S CHURCH: Sunday, 9.45am Parish Eucharist with activities for children. Tuesday, 2pm St Richard’s Toddler Group in the church hall. Wednesday, 10am Holy Communion.
OPEN EVENING: Old Heathfield Short Mat Bowls Open Evening on Thursday, 7.30pm at Goward Hall, Cade Street. We are looking for new members. Come to our open evening to give it a go. We are a small friendly club which meets on Thursday evenings and also plays in local league games. Season runs from September to April, an excellent way to fill the winter evenings. Just turn up on September 1, 7.30pm, wear flat shoes, comfortable clothes and try it out for free. We can offer free instruction, friendly chat, a cup of tea and biscuit. Hide AdCOFFEE POT: Will be commencing on Monday September 5 and each Monday morning from 8.45am to 10.30am in The Space at All Saints Church during term time. For parents, grandparents or carers with children attending ASSR Primary School, providing opportunities for chat, papers and magazines, with a children’s area available. Car parking facilities for Coffee Pot users in the Cricket Club Car Park.
ACORN HOUSE GROUP: On Thursday September 8 the new Acorn House Group will commence meeting fortnightly at 7.30pm at Sunningdale, Halley Road, led by Colin and Norah Saunders. Specifically located in Broad Oak to serve the parishioners from both the churches in the parish.
PARISH PRAYER MEETING: A new Parish Prayer Meeting will be commencing on Saturday September 10 at 9am on alternative Saturday mornings. Designed for members of All Saints’ and St George’s Churches together and will take place in the Parish Room, Broad Oak.
LE MARCHE: Churches Together in Heathfield and District will again be serving refreshments and ploughman’s lunches in Union Church Hall on the day of Le Marche, Monday August 29. Highly recommended.
