Helicopter called after men rob boy in Crawley

The police helicopter was called after a 15-year-old boy was robbed by three men in Crawley.

Police appealed for witnesses after the men threatened the victim from London and stole his I-pad in Three Bridges Road, Three Bridges.

Police were called at about 8.30pm on Wednesday (June 8) after they made off towards Crawley railway station.

A police spokesman said: “Officers conducted a thorough search of the area along with the police helicopter.

“One of the suspects is described as white, around 25-years-old, 5’10” with short blonde dreadlocked hair and wearing a short sleeved t-shirt.

£Another is described as skinny and was wearing pyjama bottoms with symbols on them.

“The third suspect is described as having shaved blonde hair and stubble. He was wearing a dark t-shirt, jeans and trainers.”

Witnesses were asked to email [email protected] or call 101 quoting reference 1681 of 08/06.
