The standards displayed by all the teams were extremely high, with a varied and interesting selection of topics, making the independent judges task a very challenging one. The Intermediate competition was won by the team from Midhurst Rother College speaking on the subject ‘Are men really men?’ and the Senior winners were from Downlands Community School who discussed ‘The trials and tribulations of social media’. The individual award winners were drawn from across the different teams.”
Both winning teams now progress to the Rotary District Final in Dorking, which will take place on Saturday, March 10.
