They received a donation of £750 thanks to stall fees and other proceeds from the fete.

The fair was held on Saturday November 3.

Thomas France, chairman of Together in Mind, said: “We were thrilled to be invited and also agreed to run a stall at the fair to promote mental health, our group, and the local mental health services.

“The fair was a huge success with many local residents coming along to look and buy from the many wonderful stallholders of the fair. Together in Mind provide a social meeting drop in service for anyone with mental health difficulties on Monday mornings.”

They also run group outings, activities, day trips, and have a regular coffee morning on a Thursday.

The group is made up of volunteers who work together to organize and facilitate their services.

The group offers advice and sign posting for service users to other organizations that are of benefit to their needs.

Mr France added: “A lot of money was raised for Together in Mind for which we are enormously grateful.

“This will go a long way to keeping our group running and continuing to help mental health service users locally.”
