HOW TO ENJOY SUSSEX

A wealth of information about the wonders of rural Sussex including Wealden is published in this year's Enjoy Sussex visitor brochure and guides.

The free glossy brochure is a must for any visitor to Wealden and the surrounding districts, and a series of individual A5 guides, which accompany the brochure, offer residents plenty of ideas for an interesting day out.

Areas covered by the guides stretch from Burwash in the east to Pulborough in the west; and from and East Grinstead in the north to Birling Gap in the south.

The Enjoy Sussex brochure and guides highlight some of the best environmentally friendly accommodation in the South East.

Enjoy Sussex 2007 has been produced in partnership by Horsham, Lewes, Mid-Sussex and Wealden District Councils and features more than 30 attractions and 110 Nationally Quality Assessed accommodation providers.

Sarah Pascoe, Economic Development & Tourism Manager for Wealden District Council said:

'The tourism partnership between Horsham, Lewes, Mid-Sussex and Wealden is going from strength to strength.

'The partnership has already proved a success with visitors and local tourism businesses alike. The new look Enjoy Sussex 2007 brochure and guides are set to bring more income to the area and support more local jobs.'

Copies of the complete brochure are available free of charge from 'Enjoy Sussex Tourism' by calling 01271 336173.

The individual A5 guides cover Ashdown Forest to Seaford and South Downs, Horsham and South Downs, Lewes and South Downs, and Self Catering; and are available from Wealden information racks and tourist information centres across the Enjoy Sussex destination area including those at Lewes, Seaford, Horsham and Burgess Hill.

They is also available to view online at Community Access Point Kiosks across Wealden.

The brochure will be launched next week.
