Hunt horsewoman airlifted to hospital
THE police helicopter was called to remote Downland on Wednesday afternoon to rescue a rider who had fallen from her horse during the Southdown and Eridge Hunt.
The woman, who has not been named, was flown to Eastbourne District General Hospital with concussion.
A Hunt spokesman said the woman, who fell while the Hunt were riding near Breaky Bottom, north of Telscombe, had been riding as a guest of the Hunt.
