Ian has been working with UK, European and national African churches to bring high quality life skills training to the youth of east African nations.

Many of these young people are directly affected by the ongoing AIDS crisis in Africa. Youthworx has responded with a message of sexual and moral education based on clear Christian principles.

Heading a team of Ugandan nationals with a growing number of volunteers, Ian is seeking to use his visit to Europe to boost his links with Youthworxs' supporters and explain the work to a wider audience.

He said: 'Together there is an effective opportunity for supporting east African nationals as we are seeing them grow with integrity and vision.

'They are the next generation of leaders in Africa and we know how important these qualities are for a sustainable future in this continent.'
