Harvest Festival: All Saints will be decorated for Harvest Festival on the Saturday before the Sunday service that is on 27 September from 9.30am. Lots of space, so please bring your flowers, seed heads and foliage and join the ladies who do the flowers. Everybody is welcome and help will be given if needed. Also, if you have flowers or anything else which you wish to give to decorate the Church please bring them along early on the Saturday morning or contact Christine Overy on 01424 814927 to make alternative arrangements.

Church Market: Tomorrow, Saturday 20 September, is the last Church Market of 2014 from 11.00am to 2.20pm. The usual stalls with cakes, cards,bric-a-brac, plants and lovely refreshments. Everybody is welcome. If you are visiting the area drop in and enjoy the friendly atmosphere of our Norman village church.

Live Music: The Queen’s Head Sunday 21 September 4-6pm Talisman perform.

Autumn Show; Icklesham Horticultural Society’s Autumn Show is in the Memorial Hall next Saturday 27 September starting at 2pm . Entries have to be in by Wednesday 24th.

Quiz Night: Thanks to everyone for their support in the Quiz on Saturday night. We raised £327 for the Trust committee. 15 teams entered and after some close rounds Empty Heads won followed by Richard and Bob, Fab5 were 3rd and Nobby’s Nuts 4th. I would like to thatnk those that donated the winners prize, those that donated raffle prizes, bought tickets and sold them. Thanks also to Tina, Alan and John for helping with the setting up, Charlotte for her help during the evening then everyone that helped with the clearing away at the end, it was all much appreciated. The next Quiz is 25th October, this time raising money for our Church please support in anyway that you can. Teams booked for 25th are as follows: 1. Barbara Southerden 2. Janet Pegg 3. Macmillian Coffee morning: Coffee and Cakes will be for sale at Icklesham Village Stores on Friday morning 26th September, all proceeds going to Macmillian Cancer Care.
