A great variety of locally produced items including gGreetings and Christmas cards, hand made jewellery, knitwear, Mulberry glass, wooden names, pottery, art etc. There is easy free parking just off the A259 and coffee,tea and cakes are available.

The Poppy Day collection is continuing until Sunday 11 November with house to house collections and collecting boxes at The Robin Hood, The Queen’s Head, Icklesham Village Store,Windmill Orchard Farm Shop, Icklesham Church of England Primary School and The Five Villages House.

All households should have received a pamphlet with some details about the election of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Sussex. I tried to find how the second vote was used and even emailed the address given but could not find the answer. Surely this innovation in English elections should be clearly explained.

Saturday 10 November No Exit the local band will be playing a fabulous mix of popular cover versions in the Memorial Hall starting at 8pm. A licensed bar and a raffle with all proceeds to the Icklesham Casuals F.C.75th Anniversary Charity Fund Raising. Tickets £5

Monday 5 November The Robin Hood Bonfire Society has its bonfire and superb fireworks display in the field next to the pub. the gates open at 6.30 and after a procession the bonfire is lit by the Head Boy and Head Girl of Icklesham School –Ryan and Sophie Duffield. on the field there will be food and drinks available. Entrance is just £3 for adults and £2 for children. All profits will be distributed to local charities.
