Idea of residents' group is mooted

A residents' association is likely to be formed to improve the lives of those who live in a western Bognor Regis area.

Police community support officer Justina Baker wants to get the group established in the new year for Lewes Close, Lavina Court and Hastings Close.

This follows the formation of a Neighbourhood Watch for the housing there after a street briefing with the police to discuss ways to stop youths disrupting the lives of the residents.

It is hoped the NW co-ordinators will get involved in the new association, which could attract funding to help to resolve the problems of antisocial behaviour and littering.
