There is only news about Christmas events to tell you about.

The very popular Carol Service will be on Tuesday 18th December at 7.30 pm in Iden Church.

The Christingle Service will be at Iden this year, and the midnight service on Christmas Eve will be at Playden.

There are a few copies of the 2013 Iden Calendar still available at Iden Stores. It has some wonderful and intriguing photographs by Rod Stuart and costs £6. All profits are to go towards the shop improvements.

The Parish Council should be meeting on Tuesday 4th December at 7.30 pm in the village hall. There will be a Public Question Time.

All parishioners are welcome to attend.

Rye Festive Shopping is on Saturday 1st December. I think I am right in saying that the shops remain open late and car parking is free in the town car parks.

The mid-week services will be at 9.30 am and 3.30 pm as usual on Wednesday.

The 9.30 am service for Advent Sunday will be Family Communion.
